Welcome to the Taft Street Blog – This is a blog for residents living near the beach blocks centered on Taft Street, including Kings Court, McCleary and Carrion Court. This is a a place for people to share their stories living in the area, as well as ideas for how we can make things better. Area residents are invited to submit a post for publication. You can include pictures, audio, links to other web-sites and even (small) videos.
You can also request that a Poll be created and included in your post. Polling data can shed light on what people really think about an issue.

- The blog is bilingual. Feel free to write en Español.
- You can publish anonymously but a real email address must be regsitered though it will not be displayed.
- The blog is moderated - Inappropriate comments may be deleted or edited at the discretion of the moderator.

The Taft Street area is a diverse place with a vibrant community. The Taft Street blog provides a way for you to share an idea or a story without waiting for a chance meeting . Documenting these stories may also give us leverage with local government or utilities if some change is needed.
